Projects supported
There is a lack of educational facilities and infrastructure, such as water wells and sanitary facilities etc. The Ghanaian government has too few resources, not only for the primary education, but also for professional training (agriculture and technical education). Education can offer a country and its people a future and can create chances for an independent life.
There is a huge demand for educational facilities. So it’s very important to make the right decision to support especially those projects which are reliable, have a good plan and are feasible: small-scale and concrete projects, financially well-organized and verifiable.
In making this choice we are helped by the foundations “Help Ghana”, “Equal Opportunity Fund for Ghana” and “Cordaid”. All of these organisations have a vast experience in this area.
During the journey through Ghana we’ll try to visit the chosen projects as much as possible.
Whaterver happens, the “Crystal Palace” school in the little mining-town Obuasi will be helped anyway. For more information click in the menu at the left.
This school is meant for children who can’t pay all the normal school fees. Crystal Palace really wants to expand with three more classrooms for the Junior Secondary School, and with sanitary facilities for approx. 300 students.
Total costs: approx. €30.000,- |
